terribly painful reaction

I had a terrible reaction to one of your products.

I have used this product several times over the years. Yesterday, I applied it to soothe some sore points on my back/shoulder and on my calves/ankles. It was soothing through the morning and wore off by the afternoon until I went for a forest run 6 hours after applying the product. Initially, only the skin around the edge of my short socks began to burn, but by the end of my run, my entire lower legs and shoulders were burning as if boiling water had been poured on them. I rushed home from the park and showered. The soap and cold water did not stop the burning. I then dunked my legs in a cold tub, and the burning finally subsided, 45 minutes after it began.

I have many tattoos, and this pain was comparable to getting a tattoo. In retrospect, I realized that as I got hotter, my sweat glands opened, allowing the capsicum to enter my skin. The menthol may have also exacerbated the issue with some UV light exposure.

Your packaging mentions neither of these possibilities, and I feel it really should recommend against exercise after applying the product.

Please update your packaging to warn people against exercising after application (and probably against staying out in the heat so you don't start sweating).
